Copying an Existing Template from One Page to Another

Sometimes you may have a template that is appropriate for more than one page in your library.  If this is the case, you’ll probably find it easier to copy it from one page to another, rather than going through the template posting process multiple times.

Use the following five-step process to copy an existing template from one page to another.

Step 1:  Navigate to the template you want to copy, “New Product Announcement – Sept 15, 2005,” in this case, and click COPY.

Step 2:  Your control panel will now prompt you to “Choose the copy destination for this template.” Use the pull-down menu to first locate the library you want to copy to.  Once the correct library has been selected, click DRILL DOWN.

Step 3:  Next use the pull-down menu to select the page you want to copy to.  Once it’s selected (dealers in this case) click DRILL DOWN again.

Step 4:  Use the pull-down menu to locate the subcategory you want to copy to.  Once the correct subcategory (cookies here) has been selected, click DRILL DOWN.

Step 5:  That’s it.  After clicking DRILL DOWN from the subcategory selection menu, you’ll be notified that the “Copy was Successful” and you’ll now see this template listed in the new library page.
