Setup & learning curve for users - under 10 minutes! |
Step 1: The new end-user learns of your program via whatever mechanism you use to inform them of it. This might be a link on a page in your website or intranet, or it might be via email. All the new user needs to do is to click the link. Time estimate: 10 seconds.
Step 2: The link opens the one-page DynaSend registration form. This form prompts the user to input the various mail-merge information used by DynaSend templates, getting this simple task out of the way right up front. Time estimate: 2 minutes.
Step 3: Their end-user "control panel" is displayed. The system knows what library page to display, as that information was contained in the link they clicked in step 1. This page is loaded and established as their "default" library.
The first time the new user clicks one of the "Send Email" links on the library page they will be prompted to do the one-time ActiveX install. Time estimate: 60 seconds.
Following the ActiveX installation the user is prompted to read over the online HELP to understand how DynaSend can be accessed from directly within Outlook. Time estimate to read over the online help: 4 minutes.
That's it! The new end-user is now able to use your template library on a daily basis. |
