Users must have a locally installed copy of Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express Version 6 as their default email program running on a PCOutlook Web-Access is not supported.

We strongly recommend that users turn Microsoft Word off as their email editor in Outlook (users of Outlook 2000 MUST turn Microsoft Word off)Click here to see how to check this and change if necessary.

Browser Requirements:

  • All users must have INTERNET EXPLORER's browser security settings set to the default level (medium).  This is true even of users who use Firefox (or other browsers) as their default.   Click here to see how to check your IE security setting.

  • Browsing directly to a DynaSend library page - such as our Live Demonstration - must be done from within Internet Explorer in order for the links to work.

  • Firefox users have full access to DynaSend's capabilities via our Outlook Integration that has been developed to work regardless of what default browser is in place.

One-Time Installation of an ActiveX Software Plug-In

DynaSend's functionality requires the one-time installation of an ActiveX control on the user's computer.  This small software program interacts with the specialized DynaSend webpage links to generate the ready-to-send messages in Outlook.
