Special Alerts

Enabling end-users to customize outgoing messages adds a great deal of flexibility to a DynaSend program.  We employ a system of "alerts" to let end-users know when customization is required.

"Special instructions" added by the library administrator will cause the alert symbol - - to appear next to the template name in the end-user library page.  This symbol informs the user of the need to review the instructions prior to using the template.  Special instructions may look like:

MANUAL EDITING REQUIRED:  In paragraph 2, add the current UNIT COST and the ORDER QUANTITY where prompted by the template.

Referral Name Required:  In paragraph 1, add the first & last name of the referrer as prompted.

Time/Date/Location Needed:  Paragraph 4 invites them to the next local seminar.  Please fill in the time, date and location of this seminar as prompted just beneath paragraph 4.
